Free ROAS Calculator (Break-Even & Ad Profit)
Determine true campaign profitability accounting for product COGS, payment merchant cuts, shipping expenses, and real break-even ad return thresholds.
Spot True Net Profit, Stop Ad Spend Leaks
Ad dashboard metrics often hide net loss. Subtract COGS, gateway fees, packaging, and shipping to discover true break-even ad targets.
Why High Ad Dashboard ROAS Can Still Lose Money
E-commerce operators often scale unprofitable campaigns because their dashboard shows 2.5x ROAS. If product margins and shipping eat 60% of revenue, your break-even ROAS threshold is actually 2.5x — meaning zero dollars in real corporate profit.
Subtract Product Cost, Packaging, Shipping & Fees
Generic ROAS calculators only compare sales to ad spend. Our complete profit calculator accounts for product costs, courier postage, warehouse fees, and payment processor fees.

What is the difference between ROAS and ROI?
ROAS (Return on Ad Spend) measures gross revenue earned per dollar spent on advertising (Revenue / Ad Spend). ROI (Return on Investment) accounts for all costs including ad spend, product cost (COGS), shipping, and payment fees to measure net profit.
How is Break-Even ROAS calculated?
Break-Even ROAS = 1 / Profit Margin %. For example, if your product has a 50% profit margin, your Break-Even ROAS is 1 / 0.5 = 2.0x. Any ROAS above 2.0x represents pure profit.
What is Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC)?
CAC is total marketing cost divided by total new customers acquired. Tracking CAC against Customer Lifetime Value (LTV) ensures sustainable scaling.
Can I export an audit report for my marketing clients?
Yes! ZeroTool lets you download a clean CSV audit or print summary of your ROAS and margin breakdown.
